The staff was incredibly attentive. The location was perfect. The rooms were well presented and well stocked. The breakfast was warm and savory with plenty of great food. The hotel is just a minute walk from Charlotte Square. The location close to Waverly station was very convenient. It was within a 10-minute walk to the lake.

Great location. Great value. Friendly staff. Convenience and comfort. Rick's came recommended form my neioghbours who stayed some ten years ago. Great to see that the reputation has not waned at all over those years.
No one was available for 07.00am check out. This was minor but still an inconvenience.

The location was great, the ambience of the hotel was spot on and the staff were excellent.

The staff were friendly, professional, and couldn't have been more welcoming in a relaxed way. Location excellent for shops, theatres etc. The room was extremely well equiped - ipod, hair straighteners, bathrobes, good quality bathroom products. Very good value for money,would definately use this hotel again.
